I Turn To You to Army Dad Surprises Son at School
A lover is reunited with a kiss
A father is reunited with a son
I Turn To You (Shakespearean sonnet)
From fields upon another sunny day
Where fancies frolic ever Joyfully
And time is moment memories away
-
I turn to you at blossoming of tune
A splendor which began a dream ago
A kiss which ever scribed into the moon
Our melody and meaning in our glow
-
Return to me those secret searching eyes
The endless sparks of marvel in your smile
My vision of forever you comprise
So grace me with your everlasting while
-
I turn to you the source of Joys abyss
Return to me this one more longed for kiss
A lover's requests returns in this Shakespearean sonnet. A simple love song (sonnet). There is only one small touch of cleverness to it. In the first two quatrains the speaker turns to his beloved for the magic of a moment. In the third quatrain seeks a return. In the rhyming couplet the two idea (I turn and Return) are brought together as we learn the purpose of it all is revealed.
People are going to laugh at me. When I first dated Arlene, I worked in a candy store. Arlene's favorite candy was red licorice. I found this out by her kisses. Her kisses were better when I brought her the right candy. And so it was for all things. It is no secret that I'm a sucker for a kiss. I am also a leg man. Arlene had great legs. Throw in her beauty and all the other wonders which were Arlene, she had her puppy well trained. It started out with candy and kisses. As time went on, Arlene's wordless hints and rewards grew to encompass more and more of a realm of pleasures. I, on my end, became motivated to learn a language that had no words. The magic worked both ways. As I admired Arlene's wonders, beyond words, (and she knew it) the better it all got. And the greatest of all was a kiss. I can hear the laughs, but I was the biggest winner.
Humans and communications... First we foreign languages. Then We have one language. When we see the word "read", is it pronounced "red" or "reed"? When we hear the someone say the word "to". did they mean "to"."too" or "two"? Then there is that plethora of words that we out and out don't understand. Into this mix is the world of wordless communication. When someone is giving us "the eye", are they admiring us, staring in our direction or something else? In the realm of relationships these wordless communications can be realms of their own. Realms of endless wonder. In the story we have a nut whose wife has the power to make her happy without using words. In life we have couples, people who can communicate with their partner worlds without words. A look, a sign, a gesture, and on and on. For those of us who have touched upon this wordless realm know that we can have a private exchange in the midst of outward mumble jumble. See that special something in those eyes? It is the wordless call to Enjoy.

Let's bring a father and a son together
Graduating high school senior Nicolas Schott rose to speak about the important of honoring military families at his own commencement ceremony in Goose Creek, South Carolina. He had no idea his father, U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Jamie Schott, had returned from overseas and was watching him from the side of the stage. A principal, of studio C, calls together a special assembly to witness the long overdue reuniting of a son and a father, who was away serving his country.
The event doesn't go exactly as planned. "Army Dad Surprises Son at School"

Sometimes the things that are felt the most
are expressed between two souls over the
distance and over time...where no words abide.
