Their Night to Anime Fidget Spinners
A couple meets their night
A hero meets his night
Their Night (Italian sonnet)
Our guiding star so brightly showed the way
Upon our path which flowers kept in sight
And with each kiss the promises of day
-
So off we went two children lost to hope
Enjoying youth and all which followed it
Our gentle worries kisses helped us cope
Until we found our path had grown a split
-
Then came the clouds who helped confound our star
And paths with signs and promises of more
Each step forebodes the warnings of a scar
Our kisses wane to wander far from shore
-
But through the rain of pain our star returns
What strange new path now sees us holding tight
What strain of fate has kisses for concerns
For there we were true lovers met their night
Two lovers successfully pass through the hardship of life in this Italian sonnet. An Italian sonnet is just like a Shakespearean sonnet except that instead of ending with a rhyming couplet another quatrain is thrown in. In this one the normal rhyme pattern is broken as the sonnet tries to show the return of the lovers by making the last line very similar to the first line. (Normal rhyme pattern: A/B/AB C/D/C/D E/F/E/F G/H/G/H.)
Arlene and I were pretty blessed, as far as life and its hardships was concerned. After leaving our dream " Castle in the Sky" we moved to that apartment in the Richmond district. It was in that apartment that our love would be tested. I am unsure what it was that turned two lovers against one another. Somehow Arlene and I survived as a couple, as partners, as lovers. Not only that, we were were stronger.
As with most people, life constantly challenges us. So it was with Arlene and me. I was at work/when I get a phone call. A two year old baby had died under Arlene's care. With little notice, I left work to rush home and be with Arlene. In the quiet of the taxi the unreality of what Arlene must be going through was filling up my mind. When I arrived home there were three police cars parked outside. Arlene was at the kitchen table with two officers. It seems the child fell off a small toy horse and had a "freak" and fatal accident in the front room. When the officers left, I was alone with a confused stranger who needed comforting. I only had one purpose. The details of what exactly happened were not as important as seeing Arlene back from whatever she was going though. It was so strange that the "horrors" of that Richmond apartment would give us the strength to wake up from this nightmare.
Life is a wonder. A bad experience gave a couple the strength to meet a worse experience. Oh yes, they could have met this calamity without their former hardship. Let's look at things another way, From the moment we are born we start to learn. (Some think the learning process begins earlier.) As we learn, we can take advantage. or more readily adjust, to other things. First we walk, then we run. Our first love (that pillow or blanket) leaves us and it is the end of the world, But we learn. We grow. Scientifically: it is nerves and chemicals. For those of us of a spiritual nature: throw in a touch of something else. Either way, it is amazing. Throw in our food. Not just those things we eat and drink, but the things we experience. The wonder of it. It all helps us grow. And as we grow, let us Enjoy.

A fidget spinner is a toy that consists of a bearing in the center of a multi-lobed flat structure made from metal or plastic designed to spin along its axis with little effort. The Guardian, The New York Times and the New York Post credit Catherine Hettinger, a chemical engineer by training, for inventing the devise. As one might suspect, it wouldn't be long until fidget spinner masters would emerge. Corridor Digital has captured the final duel of two masters.
